Song!

I am a little late in writing this, but the business of life…. Wendy and I returned from our visit to the West Country on Saturday evening, having spent time with the FGB director for the region, and with Don Double, with whom I have been friendly for around 40 years now. Praise and worship in Liberty is always so ... Read More »

Celebrate!

With several people away over the Bank Holiday, we were encouraged to have the room reasonably full. Our first song was ‘Holy Spirit, we welcome You’, and after a time of riotous praise, there seemed to be a very real presence of God in the room, with the exhortation to simply sit and soak. We did! After Wendy led us ... Read More »

Victory!

There was a buzz of excitement before the meeting even started. Was it expectation of really meeting with God – Victory! -, or was it the fact that Norwich city football team had gained promotion to the premier league? Victory! “Pray for Ipswich!” brought howls of laughter. It was almost a record attendance, and it was hot in the room. ... Read More »

He is Risen!

We met together with a mixture of emotions. He is risen – but over 200 people, many of them fellow believers, had been blown to pieces in Sri Lanka. So we prayed about that situation, as Wendy and I had earlier. Shirlene, who comes from Sri Lanka, had heard that her family were safe. Then we praised our risen Saviour, ... Read More »

We Love His Presence!

Thank you to Bob and Connie for being with us, and Bob for leading us in praise and worship. Thank you to Marcus for sharing from the word, and to many, including first-timer Lucas, for leading us in prayer. With several people away, the room was still full. If everyone who considered themselves a part of Liberty came on the ... Read More »

Armour of God

The best made schemes… So many people planning to come, but then sickness and other distractions. And some people not able to come, found they could. Why do we try and estimate who will be with us? – because of catering for lunch, children’s teaching materials, etc. and at which Wendy is amazing in getting it right. Thank you to ... Read More »

Gifts in operation – love it!

Despite extremely inclement weather and a number of members with health issues, a room full of people sang praises to God that must have been heard in the nearby village. Prophecy, tongues and interpretation were in operation, and unusually, a period of silence when there was a quiet sense of awe at the presence of God. Thank you to Tim ... Read More »

Praise, Tongues, Interpretation, Prophecy

What a time of praise and worship, with people shouting praises to God, tongues, interpretation and prophecy. Testimonies of healing, and praying for the sick, anointing some with oil, and commanding spirits of infirmity to leave, in Jesus Name! So it is not surprising that we felt the presence of God amongst us. Thank you to everyone who participated – ... Read More »

A Heavenly Place!

A big Thank-you to Paul and Jeannie Poulton for leading us in worship and sharing an anointed word with us. And so good to see so many. Thank-you to all who participated and contributed, and to Wendy for teaching the children and providing an excellent lunch as usual. Next week – same place, same time. All welcome, including to lunch. Read More »
