Endure – with joy!

Always good to have a room full, and lovely to have Jonathan and Paige with us. Praise, worship, gifts of the Spirit, and so many contributions.

Paige spoke of how enduring difficulties is part of our worship, and Jonathan took us through many aspects of the Christian life, likening it to a journey involving mountains and valleys. We enjoy mountain tops and endure valleys, but both are necessary. At times we endure – with joy.

Wendy provided a choice of 3 hot main courses. I think most people sampled each.

This Thursday is the Aylsham Bible study at John’s home. 12.30pm for curry and 2pm for Bible study led by Shirlene. Bring a friend – there’s always lots of food!

Next Sunday we meet at Catfield for worship and lunch. If you intend going, it would help Shirlene if you let her know.

Cosy!

It was cosy! Already people are going on holiday, and indeed we will be by next Sunday. Well, at conference.   After a time of praise, worship and prayer, Ann shared from Luke 1:37. With God, nothing is impossible. She further shared about the joys of fellowship, and that with Christians, regardless of denomination, we are family.   We looked at Psalm 84. Yes, how lovely to be in God’s presence. The Living God - He is alive, answers prayers, heals, changes lives. We looked at Psalm 87 - the family of God is family, and is drawn from all nations.   Wendy led communion.   Barry H took us through 1 Corinthians 13.   There is no meeting next week.
