Two Doors!

‘Best Easter Sunday meeting ever!” was overheard a time or two, reflecting back on last Sunday. Indeed, it was encouraging to hear the testimonies being discussed later that day amongst visitors.

Back to a more modest number, and great to have Faye with us for around the third time, and Jane from Beccles, who has to sit outside, and lean in through a window due to health issues. Bob led praise and worship in his inimitable manner, and several people led in prayer.

Barry H shared concerning the promised land. Egypt was flat, but in the promised land, there were hills and valleys.

A picture of life, but there were also promises about a better future, which is always true for the people of God. Cliff led communion. A number of people laid hands on Wendy L as she was in significant pain, and the leg and back trouble have not resolved, and tend to get worse. We could do with more promised land here!

In Revelation 3, we read in more than one place of an open door. The Lord does open doors for us, both to enter and exit. We can go our through a door and leave problems and bad things behind. We can enter a door and find more of the abundant life and promises that are waiting for us.

However, in Revelation 4:1 we read of another door, which allows us to enter heaven. We need to enter this door, and spend time in the presence of God, and to listen for his voice. It is only when we have enter this door, that we can make use of the other door!

Prayer meeting at Catfield this Thursday at 2pm.

Alpha starts at Catfield this Tuesday at 7pm.

Zoom meetings have been proposed. Ladies? Everybody? Prayer? Fellowship? If you are interested, speak to Shirlene.

Next Sunday, we meet at Frettenham.

With people coming here from such a wide area now, and finding it difficult because of the distance (Pakefield, Beccles, Banningham, north Norwich, Reedham, and so many more places), we plan to start a second meeting place. Details to follow.
