There seems to be a stirring in the Catfield area, where we pray every Thursday, where several unbelievers have come into Liberty through Shirlene, and where our first Alpha course is running Tuesday evenings. Well done, Shirlene, and Thank You Jesus!
With a number of folk coming from that area, and from around Yarmouth and even Lowestoft way, we hope to start some Sunday meetings in Catfield soon. A small step toward the big vision – a small church in every neighbourhood, but regularly coming together, identifying as one Church.
Praise, worship, Wendy read psalm 98 (which she and I had read together around 2 hours earlier as part of our daily devotions), prayers of praise, a tongue, two interpretations (or was it an interpretation and a prophecy?), and a word from Barry H from Deuteronomy 33:8-11, concerning Moses’ blessing over Levi.
Levi was a tribe of priests, and so are we. The Lord led them (by Urim and Thummim) and he leads us (by his Spirit). They observed Gods word (we read the Bible) and kept his commandments (we need to keep God’s word, and not simply read it). They offered incense (we offer praise, worship and prayer). The Lord blessed them, and he promises to bless us.
Shirlene led communion.
Next Sunday, Jonathan and Paige are with us, and there will be a Liberty Lunch.
