Well Done, Charlie!

I am not sure quite how old Charlie is (cries of ‘shame’!), but I guess he is around 11. He asked this morning if he could say something about the breaking of bread, and distribute it together with his two sisters.

After a time of praise, worship and prayer, and various gifts of the Holy Spirit, Charlie quietly explained that the bread and wine are an expression of the love of God toward us.

Marcus gave an appreciated word, based on the opening verses of John 8. We were once like the woman taken in adultery, but are now the Bride of Christ.

Wendy amazingly provided 2 types of soup, Cornish pasties and salad. (We only returned from 9 days away late last night).

Our next meeting is next Sunday, Frettenham, 10.15am fort 10.30am. Do stay to ,lunch.

Cosy!

It was cosy! Already people are going on holiday, and indeed we will be by next Sunday. Well, at conference.   After a time of praise, worship and prayer, Ann shared from Luke 1:37. With God, nothing is impossible. She further shared about the joys of fellowship, and that with Christians, regardless of denomination, we are family.   We looked at Psalm 84. Yes, how lovely to be in God’s presence. The Living God - He is alive, answers prayers, heals, changes lives. We looked at Psalm 87 - the family of God is family, and is drawn from all nations.   Wendy led communion.   Barry H took us through 1 Corinthians 13.   There is no meeting next week.
