Turkey!

A big Thank-you to Malcolm for arranging our meeting last Sunday, and for the Christmas dinner that followed. Around 20 of us gathered for praise and worship led by Bob, and for breaking bread together led by Malcolm. An excellent word from Marcus on gold, frankincense and myrrh.

A Christmas lunch at The Cottage in Thorpe, with brass band playing carols, was the culmination of the day.

Back to normal next week, meeting at Frettenham, usual place and usual time. All welcome, and for lunch.

Cosy!

It was cosy! Already people are going on holiday, and indeed we will be by next Sunday. Well, at conference.   After a time of praise, worship and prayer, Ann shared from Luke 1:37. With God, nothing is impossible. She further shared about the joys of fellowship, and that with Christians, regardless of denomination, we are family.   We looked at Psalm 84. Yes, how lovely to be in God’s presence. The Living God - He is alive, answers prayers, heals, changes lives. We looked at Psalm 87 - the family of God is family, and is drawn from all nations.   Wendy led communion.   Barry H took us through 1 Corinthians 13.   There is no meeting next week.
