The Presence of the Spirit!

There’s a lot to be said for a small meeting – but I love a room full! A room full of people,

and a room full of praise.

A room full of the Holy Spirit (‘made my hands tingle, brother’, said Bob), with a message in tongues, the interpretation, a word of knowledge, and prayer for the sick.

Thank you to Bob for leading worship, Connie for a great, everyday testimony, Cliff for leading communion, and Sam B and Barry H for sharing challenging words.

Our Bible study is on Thursday this week. James 5 led by Wendy.

Next Sunday – guest speaker Marcus Philpott, followed by Liberty Lunch. Do bring a friend. Or several friends.

Cosy!

It was cosy! Already people are going on holiday, and indeed we will be by next Sunday. Well, at conference.   After a time of praise, worship and prayer, Ann shared from Luke 1:37. With God, nothing is impossible. She further shared about the joys of fellowship, and that with Christians, regardless of denomination, we are family.   We looked at Psalm 84. Yes, how lovely to be in God’s presence. The Living God - He is alive, answers prayers, heals, changes lives. We looked at Psalm 87 - the family of God is family, and is drawn from all nations.   Wendy led communion.   Barry H took us through 1 Corinthians 13.   There is no meeting next week.
