Thank you, Lord!

It’s always good to have new faces here, and it was good to welcome Caroline from Spixworth this morning, brought by Frank.

What a great morning, with so many contributions, and so many scriptures. Great praise and worship, with Shirlene taking over on tambourine. Meaningful contributions from Billy and Wendy, and earnest prayer for them, for Cliff’s wife Sue, and for Connie’s daughter Cathy.

Thank you to Shirlene for leading communion at short notice.

We looked at Psalm 127. Unless the Lord builds the house… In fact, if you are not in reality ‘building your life’ with all its relationships, projects, etc. with Jesus, then things can easily go wrong. Keep close to the Lord, and let Him be there directing you re which church, where to live, what to spend or give, etc. etc. That is the way that leads to fulfilment. And encourage family members to bring their children up with prayer and scripture.

The gathering was so good. Thank you Lord.

A dozen or so enjoyed lemon chicken, spicy sausages and rice. And there was so much laughter!

Same time, same place next week.

For your prayers –

Sue Pain. For complete healing and good mobility.

John Alam. Feeling better, but more prayer for better still.

Billy and Wendy. Clear direction re where to live, and resolution of problems re bureaucracy.

Barry Harvey. Really bad cold. Pray for real healing and health.

Angie. Resolution of health challenges.

Mike and Pauline. We thank God (and them) for all they have contributed to the life and meetings at Liberty. We wish them well at Soul – that they will be blessed, and bless others, and that they will come back and see us from time to time, which is their intention.

We prayed for a worship leader, and Bob and Connie arrived. Unexpectedly.

We prayed for more people, and several couples arrived. Praise God.

Now we pray for people in their 30s, 40s and 50s to join us.
