Song!

I am a little late in writing this, but the business of life….

Wendy and I returned from our visit to the West Country on Saturday evening, having spent time with the FGB director for the region, and with Don Double, with whom I have been friendly for around 40 years now.

Praise and worship in Liberty is always so special, and I really believe the Holy Spirit loves to join us and inspire us and touch us. What more can one say.

How lovely to have Anne leading us in breaking bread, and the children helping distribute the bread and wine.

Barry H spoke on the Song of Songs – the revelation given him by the Holy Spirit was quite remarkable, and people stayed and expressed appreciation after the meeting.

Cornish pasties for lunch, fresh from Cornwall the previous day.

Our next meeting is next Sunday, usual time and usual place.

Cosy!

It was cosy! Already people are going on holiday, and indeed we will be by next Sunday. Well, at conference.   After a time of praise, worship and prayer, Ann shared from Luke 1:37. With God, nothing is impossible. She further shared about the joys of fellowship, and that with Christians, regardless of denomination, we are family.   We looked at Psalm 84. Yes, how lovely to be in God’s presence. The Living God - He is alive, answers prayers, heals, changes lives. We looked at Psalm 87 - the family of God is family, and is drawn from all nations.   Wendy led communion.   Barry H took us through 1 Corinthians 13.   There is no meeting next week.
