“I never wanted to miss church, in case I missed God doing something,” a Christian told me once. I thought back to that after our meeting Sunday morning. The presence of God amongst us was almost tangible, with uninhibited praise and worship, testimony, teaching, words of knowledge and prayer for healing.
We observed 2 minutes of silence at 11am, and thanked God for the relative freedom we enjoy today. We prayed for those grieving over family losses during world wars, and other more recent wars.
Bob and Connie led us in communion, and it was a very special time. So many people shared, and there was a heavy anointing on the meeting.
