Goodbye!

People are leaving us! We are so sorry to say Goodbye to Malcolm and Moira, and thank them for many years of input, support, love and friendship. We wish them well at Soul Church, an excellent place to be.

This morning saw a few more people than we expected. As usual, praise, worship, prayer, communion, and so many people participating. Of note, thank you to Wendy for reading and praying, to Tim for meaningful prayer, to Maria for testimony, to Anne for practical testimony around her favourite text (Joshua 1:5), to John for a vision of a fountain in our midst (twice), to Marcus for a truly outstanding word……

Our next meeting is next Sunday, same time, same place. All welcome.

Cosy!

It was cosy! Already people are going on holiday, and indeed we will be by next Sunday. Well, at conference.   After a time of praise, worship and prayer, Ann shared from Luke 1:37. With God, nothing is impossible. She further shared about the joys of fellowship, and that with Christians, regardless of denomination, we are family.   We looked at Psalm 84. Yes, how lovely to be in God’s presence. The Living God - He is alive, answers prayers, heals, changes lives. We looked at Psalm 87 - the family of God is family, and is drawn from all nations.   Wendy led communion.   Barry H took us through 1 Corinthians 13.   There is no meeting next week.
