Gifts!

The room was not so full as it has been in recent weeks, but many of the core people were present, and from the very start, the Spirit seemed to come down upon and among us. Following a testimony of healing, and of someone else being baptised in the Holy Spirit, there was a tongue, an interpretation and a prophecy.

Malcolm conducted our breaking of bread in a meaningful and sensitive manner,

and Marcus brought an anointed word on ‘grace’, powerful and balanced.

We enjoyed soup (Thank you Wendy) and chilli (Thank you Shirlene) and puddings (Thank you Wendy).

Our next meeting is in Frettenham, same time and same place, next Sunday 13th September. All welcome.

Cosy!

It was cosy! Already people are going on holiday, and indeed we will be by next Sunday. Well, at conference.   After a time of praise, worship and prayer, Ann shared from Luke 1:37. With God, nothing is impossible. She further shared about the joys of fellowship, and that with Christians, regardless of denomination, we are family.   We looked at Psalm 84. Yes, how lovely to be in God’s presence. The Living God - He is alive, answers prayers, heals, changes lives. We looked at Psalm 87 - the family of God is family, and is drawn from all nations.   Wendy led communion.   Barry H took us through 1 Corinthians 13.   There is no meeting next week.
