Christmas and Chinese Coming!

It was so good to see Wendy doing a ‘Sunday School ‘ again. The story, and colouring a picture, of Noah’s ark.

Thank you to all who came and all who participated. We received an email from Shirlene at 8am, saying she was seriously unwell, and yet she arrived! She stood on the word, and was healed.

There are a few ‘absentees’ these days. We miss them, and unless they now have new spiritual homes, will welcome them back.

Looking forward to our Christmas lunch together, with over 20 booked in already.

And also to our Chinese evening, with Oriental feast plus Barry and Sue speaking of their recent Pyrenees adventure. Thank you to Malcolm for arranging both of these.

Our next meeting is next Sunday. 24th November, in Frettenham. All welcome.

Cosy!

It was cosy! Already people are going on holiday, and indeed we will be by next Sunday. Well, at conference.   After a time of praise, worship and prayer, Ann shared from Luke 1:37. With God, nothing is impossible. She further shared about the joys of fellowship, and that with Christians, regardless of denomination, we are family.   We looked at Psalm 84. Yes, how lovely to be in God’s presence. The Living God - He is alive, answers prayers, heals, changes lives. We looked at Psalm 87 - the family of God is family, and is drawn from all nations.   Wendy led communion.   Barry H took us through 1 Corinthians 13.   There is no meeting next week.
