Birthday!

The centre of our worship is Jesus, and the central part of our meeting is breaking bread together and remembering Him.

But it was good to note that Shirlene had a big birthday this week, and cake and candle (large) was enjoyed by all. Thank you to Malcolm and Moira.

Thank you to those who joined us, and shared and prayed and testified, etc. We were missing some – Billy had fallen and was not so mobile, some maybe forgot, some maybe were ill, some maybe have gone somewhere else (God bless them there) and some maybe have fallen away for a while (God bless them too).

We are not meeting in Frettenham next week, but will be here on 3rd October (2 weeks today). And then through to February. All welcome.

Cosy!

It was cosy! Already people are going on holiday, and indeed we will be by next Sunday. Well, at conference.   After a time of praise, worship and prayer, Ann shared from Luke 1:37. With God, nothing is impossible. She further shared about the joys of fellowship, and that with Christians, regardless of denomination, we are family.   We looked at Psalm 84. Yes, how lovely to be in God’s presence. The Living God - He is alive, answers prayers, heals, changes lives. We looked at Psalm 87 - the family of God is family, and is drawn from all nations.   Wendy led communion.   Barry H took us through 1 Corinthians 13.   There is no meeting next week.
