What a Time!

Not so many people, but what a time of praise, worship, testimony, prayer…..

We spent time looking at Psalm 121. The hills around Jerusalem might have looked strong – but the LORD Who created them is far stronger. He alone is the answer to life’s problems, and He never fails. There was testimony to this.

Thank you to all you contributed – and all did! Thank you to Wendy for various soups, breads, and puddings including blackberry and apple crumble with blackberries picked the day befrore.

There is no meeting in Frettenham next Sunday. We meet again Sunday 29th September. All welcome.

Cosy!

It was cosy! Already people are going on holiday, and indeed we will be by next Sunday. Well, at conference.   After a time of praise, worship and prayer, Ann shared from Luke 1:37. With God, nothing is impossible. She further shared about the joys of fellowship, and that with Christians, regardless of denomination, we are family.   We looked at Psalm 84. Yes, how lovely to be in God’s presence. The Living God - He is alive, answers prayers, heals, changes lives. We looked at Psalm 87 - the family of God is family, and is drawn from all nations.   Wendy led communion.   Barry H took us through 1 Corinthians 13.   There is no meeting next week.
