Thank you, Sam!

First of all, apologies for lateness of this ‘blog’. I have had difficulty accessing our own site. I’m in again! This should have been posted last Sunday, 6th August 2023.

There was a touch of deja vu. Last week, Connie told us she needed prayer, but after a time of praise, she felt so much better. This week, Sue told us she felt so bad, that she should not have come. We laid hands on her and prayed. Later in the meeting, she said she felt much better, and also by phone, later in the evening.

It was so good to have Sam Bhatt with us, staying with her mother Shirlene. A great time of praise and worship, with words and gifts. Thank you Cliff for leading us in communion. Thank you Sam for bringing us the Word.

Joseph received the word of Gods, and was not ashamed to share it. He was enslaved and imprisoned, but the word came to fulfilment. It blessed him and others. Likewise Abraham in Genesis 15 – he was blessed, and also all those who later believed in Jesus. Receive the word of God, and be fruitful.

Our next meeting is Thursday at Catfield – prayer meeting. And next Sunday morning at Frettenham.
