Thank you, Everybody!

A room comfortably full, and I think everybody participated. Even Faye, who is relatively new, asked if we could pray for someone she knew in trouble. How encouraging when someone takes the first step in sharing or participating.

Many shared through testimony, prayer, reading, etc. Thank you to Wendy L for leading communion, and Barry H for sharing various thoughts and insights concerning ministry.

After tea, coffee, cookies, etc, Wendy and I jumped in the car and travelled to my sister in Cheshire, and 2 days later, to Windermere.

We look forward to meeting this Sunday morning in Frettenham.

Cosy!

It was cosy! Already people are going on holiday, and indeed we will be by next Sunday. Well, at conference.   After a time of praise, worship and prayer, Ann shared from Luke 1:37. With God, nothing is impossible. She further shared about the joys of fellowship, and that with Christians, regardless of denomination, we are family.   We looked at Psalm 84. Yes, how lovely to be in God’s presence. The Living God - He is alive, answers prayers, heals, changes lives. We looked at Psalm 87 - the family of God is family, and is drawn from all nations.   Wendy led communion.   Barry H took us through 1 Corinthians 13.   There is no meeting next week.
