Prayer!

To gather together is enjoyable; to gather to Jesus is special. Sunday mornings are special times. There was an emphasis on prayer this week, with many things to praise God for, as well as bringing various needs to the Lord. We praise God that Tim is making such good progress, and pray for more. We pray for his family at this challenging time. Likewise for Billy and Wendy with so much happening. We thank God for improvement in Moira’s eyes, and ask for strength and joy for Malcolm as he works long hours to help friends.

Thank you to James and Amanda for leading us in communion, to Wendy for teaching the children,

and for chicken casserole.

Our next meeting is in Frettenham, next Sunday 28th October, 10.15am for 10.30am. All welcome.

Cosy!

It was cosy! Already people are going on holiday, and indeed we will be by next Sunday. Well, at conference.   After a time of praise, worship and prayer, Ann shared from Luke 1:37. With God, nothing is impossible. She further shared about the joys of fellowship, and that with Christians, regardless of denomination, we are family.   We looked at Psalm 84. Yes, how lovely to be in God’s presence. The Living God - He is alive, answers prayers, heals, changes lives. We looked at Psalm 87 - the family of God is family, and is drawn from all nations.   Wendy led communion.   Barry H took us through 1 Corinthians 13.   There is no meeting next week.
