Ovation Under the Oak!

A morning of hot sunshine, and so instead of praise on the patio, we had ovation under the oak. Praise, worship, words of encouragement, scriptures, and gifts of the Spirit, and so many people participating.

Thank you to Wendy L for leading us in communion, and to Barry H for speaking from Micah 6.

Next Sunday will be the first following the lifting of restrictions – Freedom Sunday! All are welcome, and everyone is invited to lunch, by way of celebration.

Cosy!

It was cosy! Already people are going on holiday, and indeed we will be by next Sunday. Well, at conference.   After a time of praise, worship and prayer, Ann shared from Luke 1:37. With God, nothing is impossible. She further shared about the joys of fellowship, and that with Christians, regardless of denomination, we are family.   We looked at Psalm 84. Yes, how lovely to be in God’s presence. The Living God - He is alive, answers prayers, heals, changes lives. We looked at Psalm 87 - the family of God is family, and is drawn from all nations.   Wendy led communion.   Barry H took us through 1 Corinthians 13.   There is no meeting next week.
