Out of The Miry Pit!

Wendy read psalm 39, and I read psalm 92. We considered reasons to praise God – and then we did just that.

Communion. Psalm 40, where we read that the Lord brought us out of a miry pit and put us on a Rock. At Calvary, He took our place, and, as it were, went into a miry pit, before rising from the dead. Bread. Wine. And prayer for each person who identifies with Liberty.

More praise, and then roast pork.

Cosy!

It was cosy! Already people are going on holiday, and indeed we will be by next Sunday. Well, at conference.   After a time of praise, worship and prayer, Ann shared from Luke 1:37. With God, nothing is impossible. She further shared about the joys of fellowship, and that with Christians, regardless of denomination, we are family.   We looked at Psalm 84. Yes, how lovely to be in God’s presence. The Living God - He is alive, answers prayers, heals, changes lives. We looked at Psalm 87 - the family of God is family, and is drawn from all nations.   Wendy led communion.   Barry H took us through 1 Corinthians 13.   There is no meeting next week.
