OAPs!

I don’t want to insult any of those gathered yesterday morning (and there were very few present), but I think we are all OAPs. Thank you to Bob and Connie for coming over and leading worship. Thank you to Barry H for leading communion. We were few, but it was a special time.

Our next meeting will be in Frettenham next Sunday, 10.15am for 10.30am.

Please continue praying for Tim and Anne. Tim came off the ventilator, regained consciousness, and was flown back from Toulouse to the UK on Saturday. He was taken to the Intensive Care Unit at the N&N, but improved such that he has now been moved to a regular ward.

Gerald’s funeral is at Soul Church this Friday at 10.30am.

Cosy!

It was cosy! Already people are going on holiday, and indeed we will be by next Sunday. Well, at conference.   After a time of praise, worship and prayer, Ann shared from Luke 1:37. With God, nothing is impossible. She further shared about the joys of fellowship, and that with Christians, regardless of denomination, we are family.   We looked at Psalm 84. Yes, how lovely to be in God’s presence. The Living God - He is alive, answers prayers, heals, changes lives. We looked at Psalm 87 - the family of God is family, and is drawn from all nations.   Wendy led communion.   Barry H took us through 1 Corinthians 13.   There is no meeting next week.
