More Psalms!

Here is my brief blog re our Sunday morning meeting (28th February 2021). However, since putting this together, we have heard of the passing of Tim. We are deeply saddened, and lift Ann and the family in prayer.

Psalms again! I love psalms, and that is probably my favourite book in the Bible.

Sunday morning, we started with Wendy reading psalm 86. The Lord has rescued the psalmist, and he will praise Him.

We praised Him, and then broke bread, reading psalm 104, which speaks so much of the Lord’s provision, including oil, bread and wine.

We prayed for each person identifying with Liberty.

More praise.

Cosy!

It was cosy! Already people are going on holiday, and indeed we will be by next Sunday. Well, at conference.   After a time of praise, worship and prayer, Ann shared from Luke 1:37. With God, nothing is impossible. She further shared about the joys of fellowship, and that with Christians, regardless of denomination, we are family.   We looked at Psalm 84. Yes, how lovely to be in God’s presence. The Living God - He is alive, answers prayers, heals, changes lives. We looked at Psalm 87 - the family of God is family, and is drawn from all nations.   Wendy led communion.   Barry H took us through 1 Corinthians 13.   There is no meeting next week.
