More Chairs!

We seem to be going through a time when we need to bring in extra chairs each Sunday. What a lovely problem!

We ask the Holy Spirit to come amongst us, and there is a wonderful; sense of the presence of God. Praise, worship, harmonising, tongues….

Thank you James for leading us in breaking bread, assisted by the children, and Marcus for bringing us a powerful word on the prayer of Jabez. There were many contributions from so many present.

 

Thank you Wendy for spaghetti Bolognese and to Shirlene for chicken curry, and also to Shirlene for bringing a birthday cake for Wendy.

Our next meeting is two weeks today on Sunday 2ndJune in Frettenham, usual time and usual place.

Cosy!

It was cosy! Already people are going on holiday, and indeed we will be by next Sunday. Well, at conference.   After a time of praise, worship and prayer, Ann shared from Luke 1:37. With God, nothing is impossible. She further shared about the joys of fellowship, and that with Christians, regardless of denomination, we are family.   We looked at Psalm 84. Yes, how lovely to be in God’s presence. The Living God - He is alive, answers prayers, heals, changes lives. We looked at Psalm 87 - the family of God is family, and is drawn from all nations.   Wendy led communion.   Barry H took us through 1 Corinthians 13.   There is no meeting next week.
