Lockdown Easing!

The two of us met as usual, with Wendy starting by reading Psalm 98.

Then a time of praise and worship, after which we read the book of Nahum – just 3 chapters in the book – and considered how it speaks to us today. Communion, intercessory prayer, and a closing song.

Next week we meet at 10.30am, for one hour of prayer, teaching and communion, with social distancing. We are not offering lunch. All are free to join us.

Cosy!

It was cosy! Already people are going on holiday, and indeed we will be by next Sunday. Well, at conference.   After a time of praise, worship and prayer, Ann shared from Luke 1:37. With God, nothing is impossible. She further shared about the joys of fellowship, and that with Christians, regardless of denomination, we are family.   We looked at Psalm 84. Yes, how lovely to be in God’s presence. The Living God - He is alive, answers prayers, heals, changes lives. We looked at Psalm 87 - the family of God is family, and is drawn from all nations.   Wendy led communion.   Barry H took us through 1 Corinthians 13.   There is no meeting next week.
