House Church!

It is always good to see those who have been missing awhile, back with us, and some relatively new faces. However, Bob’s car failed its MOT this week, and so I was leading praise and worship. There was also a phone call about lost keys, resulting in another 2 regulars remaining at home! Such is house church!

After a time of praise and worship, a number of needs were shared, and there was prayer.

Billy and Wendy led communion. We looked briefly at John 10:10. Satan and the powers of darkness are totally merciless in coming against people, and the rest of creation. But Jesus gives abundant life, and takes us through the dark times. There was testimony, and many affirming murmurs! One person present shared their griefs of just the past 2 weeks, and we prayed for them.

Our ‘theme song’ is ‘You won’t leave here as you came, in Jesus Name!’. We sung it with enthusiasm to close.

Michelle had brought Easter cards and reed crosses for all present.

On Thursday, there is the prayer meeting at Catfield. Next Sunday is at Frettenham.

Cosy!

It was cosy! Already people are going on holiday, and indeed we will be by next Sunday. Well, at conference.   After a time of praise, worship and prayer, Ann shared from Luke 1:37. With God, nothing is impossible. She further shared about the joys of fellowship, and that with Christians, regardless of denomination, we are family.   We looked at Psalm 84. Yes, how lovely to be in God’s presence. The Living God - He is alive, answers prayers, heals, changes lives. We looked at Psalm 87 - the family of God is family, and is drawn from all nations.   Wendy led communion.   Barry H took us through 1 Corinthians 13.   There is no meeting next week.
