He is Risen!

We met together with a mixture of emotions. He is risen – but over 200 people, many of them fellow believers, had been blown to pieces in Sri Lanka. So we prayed about that situation, as Wendy and I had earlier. Shirlene, who comes from Sri Lanka, had heard that her family were safe.

Then we praised our risen Saviour, and the room seemed full of the presence of God, as those present raised their hands, shouted praise and harmonized like a foretaste of heaven. There were gifts of the Spirit, and testimony. Wendy L and the children led us in breaking bread.

Roast lamb, appropriate for Passover, was enjoyed by a great crowd at lunch, with Jonny joining us, and Debs and Tim and grandchildren from Cringleford.

And then we sat on the patio, and fellowshipped, and laughed, and discussed matters earnestly, and joked…. No-one seemed to want to go home. That is church, and we  love it.

Our next meeting is next Sunday in Frettenham, 10.15am for 10.30am. And do stay for lunch!
