Full!

Small meetings are usually great – but my preference is for the room to be full. Which it was on Sunday.

Praise and worship led by Bob, and some very encouraging testimonies concerning people we have prayed for recently.

Barry H led communion, and also shared something from his ministry at Watton last week. He saw types and antitypes in the story of Eliezer being sent by Abraham to find a wife for Isaac. An important point was that Rebecca rode a camel on the journey to meet her husband, as it was much easier than walking. We are on a journey, and at the end will meet the Church’s Husband – Jesus. The vehicle to take us safely on this journey is the Church. Those who ‘drop out’, or who have never really dropped in, make the journey harder for themselves.

Shirlene announced that there will be meetings on four Thursdays in June – 9th, 16th, 23rd and 30th, at 2pm. 

Our next meeting is next Sunday in Frettenham.
