Full House!

God is good, and continues to amaze me. Having recently lost a family of five (and we thank God for them, and their 5 years of ministry with us), we felt that our meetings would be small, and expected few people. So why was our sitting room heaving with people this morning? Why was there praise and worship that must have been heard across the village? And how good to have innumerable contributions from so many people!

Thank you Lord, for bringing so many people. Margaret and Tony C come when in the area, and there was another Margaret who was with us for the first time, and wants to come back. Malcolm and Moira were back from New York. Marcus was another new face, and his ministry was short and powerful. Thank you Billy and Wendy for leading us in breaking bread, and to Barry H for his helpful word leading into communion. Margaret C’s testimony was moving and challenging. And so many came forward to pray for those needing a touch from heaven.

Great chilli and lasagna from Wendy. Lunch was a riot of fun and laughter.

We expect the next few meetings to be much smaller, with Billy and Wendy off to Texas, but – let us never limit the Holy One of Israel, who can move one family on to a church where there is more for the children, and then fill us wall to wall with praising people!

Our next meeting is next Sunday, same time, same place. All welcome, including lunch invite.
