ETHOS IN PRACTICE

Liberty continues! Part of our ethos is that we come together in a way that enables each person to participate, bring what the Lord’s given them, use their gifting and GROW. So Wendy and I use zoom and other electronic apps for fellowship and prayer, but – not for Church meeting. We praise, worship

pray, read scriptures, share revelations, break bread (have communion), etc. together LIVE!

Wendy has a bad back, so I anointed her with oil and prayed for her healing.

It’s so easy to sit in front of a screen – or go to church (when the virus has passed) and not really participate. So – go for it. Read 1 Corinthians 14:26.

Cosy!

It was cosy! Already people are going on holiday, and indeed we will be by next Sunday. Well, at conference.   After a time of praise, worship and prayer, Ann shared from Luke 1:37. With God, nothing is impossible. She further shared about the joys of fellowship, and that with Christians, regardless of denomination, we are family.   We looked at Psalm 84. Yes, how lovely to be in God’s presence. The Living God - He is alive, answers prayers, heals, changes lives. We looked at Psalm 87 - the family of God is family, and is drawn from all nations.   Wendy led communion.   Barry H took us through 1 Corinthians 13.   There is no meeting next week.
