Dancing!

So good to have new people with us. And children means dancing, and tambourines, and maracas. Fabulous praise and worship led by Bob, and prayer for Ukraine and our friends, Balázs and Claudia, who have taken in 13 Ukrainian refugees to their home near Budapest. In fact, now 14, as one lady has had a baby. (We had an offering at FGB for them, of £600, and some in Liberty have sent money directly, or into the FGB offering.)

Wendy read psalm 115, Bob gave a word of knowledge, Sophie led in prayer twice, several people thanked God for their mothers (it was Mothering Sunday) and Shirlene prayed for Wendy, a ‘mother’ to the church here.

Wendy led communion. The children brought in bunches of daffodils. Most stayed for lunch, which lasted well into the afternoon.

Our next meeting is next Sunday, 3rd April in Frettenham.

Cosy!

It was cosy! Already people are going on holiday, and indeed we will be by next Sunday. Well, at conference.   After a time of praise, worship and prayer, Ann shared from Luke 1:37. With God, nothing is impossible. She further shared about the joys of fellowship, and that with Christians, regardless of denomination, we are family.   We looked at Psalm 84. Yes, how lovely to be in God’s presence. The Living God - He is alive, answers prayers, heals, changes lives. We looked at Psalm 87 - the family of God is family, and is drawn from all nations.   Wendy led communion.   Barry H took us through 1 Corinthians 13.   There is no meeting next week.
