Dancing!

While singing ‘Father God’, I happened to look into the hall, and saw Freya (aged 4) dancing to the music.

Apparently I was once known  as ‘the dancing dentist’. Not to my face, but it leaked out.  But if people knew how good the Lord has been to me, they would understand the dancing. His kindness to me over many decades is also the reason I meet with others to worship, praise, pray…. I cannot understand those who do not gather, and assume they have not experienced the goodness of God as I have.

There was praise, worship, tongues, testimony, teaching and more. We broke bread together, and James spoke with passion about heaven. “Count on it”, he said.

Tim is visited by a number of us, as he improves steadily in hospital. Anne was back with us.

Wendy took the children out, and they spoke about Cain and Abel.

We enjoyed fellowship and lasagna for lunch.

We meet next in Frettenham next Sunday, 10.15am for 10.30am. All welcome.

Cosy!

It was cosy! Already people are going on holiday, and indeed we will be by next Sunday. Well, at conference.   After a time of praise, worship and prayer, Ann shared from Luke 1:37. With God, nothing is impossible. She further shared about the joys of fellowship, and that with Christians, regardless of denomination, we are family.   We looked at Psalm 84. Yes, how lovely to be in God’s presence. The Living God - He is alive, answers prayers, heals, changes lives. We looked at Psalm 87 - the family of God is family, and is drawn from all nations.   Wendy led communion.   Barry H took us through 1 Corinthians 13.   There is no meeting next week.
