Communion!

The meeting started with prayer requests and testimonies.

Answered prayer concerning greatly improved health encouraged us to pray for those needing it. So we did, at the beginning of the meeting.

Praise, worship, prayer, and further testimony.

We looked at 1 Corinthians 11:23-31. Communion is special, and a time for focusing on Jesus and Calvary. Read the whole Bible, and understand what Passover and the sacrifices tell us about ‘the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world. 

Discern the body. Be clear about Calvary, and focus on that. His blood for our redemption and body for our healing.

Discern the body. The church are the body. Other Christian’s are the body. Respect them. Esteem them. Phil.2:3.

Examine yourself – a phrase that occurs twice, and so especially important. Examine with regard to ‘discerning the body’. Some sickness and some deaths are due to not discerning the body. 

Take communion very seriously! No chatter. Focus on Jesus, and rejoice greatly.

Malcolm led us in communion. We sang ‘There’s power in the blood’ and ‘You won’t leave here as you came, in Jesus Name’.

Next meeting Thursday 2pm Catfield. Next Sunday morning at Frettenham, Jonathan and Paige will be with us, followed by a Liberty Lunch for all.
