Celebration!

As always, a great time of praise, worship, gifts of the Holy Spirit, testimony, prayer, communion and teaching. Thank you to all who participated and contributed, especially Bob leading worship.

The dining room was decked with Union flags, red, white and blue crackers, and we drank a champagne toast to the Queen before lunch. Thank you to Wendy for an amazing lunch. And so much laughter and fun, well into the afternoon.

We rejoice – Frank became engaged to Cindy last week.

We pray, especially for John A, for Sue P, with health issues, and for Billy and Wendy S seeking direction re a home, now they are back from the USA.

Our series of 4 midweek meetings starts this Thursday in Catfield. This week’s meeting is led by Shirlene, who is also hosting.

Next Sunday’s meeting is here in Frettenham, 10am for 10.30am.

Cosy!

It was cosy! Already people are going on holiday, and indeed we will be by next Sunday. Well, at conference.   After a time of praise, worship and prayer, Ann shared from Luke 1:37. With God, nothing is impossible. She further shared about the joys of fellowship, and that with Christians, regardless of denomination, we are family.   We looked at Psalm 84. Yes, how lovely to be in God’s presence. The Living God - He is alive, answers prayers, heals, changes lives. We looked at Psalm 87 - the family of God is family, and is drawn from all nations.   Wendy led communion.   Barry H took us through 1 Corinthians 13.   There is no meeting next week.
