Catfield!

August bank holiday, and a number of churches closed for the day. It seemed unbelievable, but we met at Catfield, hosted by Shirlene.

Praise and worship, and psalm 32 from Shirlene. A testimony from Cliff and Sue on how they were brought together for marriage.

Cliff spoke on ‘Who Is Jesus?’. I led communion. We prayed for those away.

Spicy sausage casserole was enjoyed by all. Thank you Shirlene.Prayer meeting on Thursday in Catfield. Next Sunday at Frettenham.

Cosy!

It was cosy! Already people are going on holiday, and indeed we will be by next Sunday. Well, at conference.   After a time of praise, worship and prayer, Ann shared from Luke 1:37. With God, nothing is impossible. She further shared about the joys of fellowship, and that with Christians, regardless of denomination, we are family.   We looked at Psalm 84. Yes, how lovely to be in God’s presence. The Living God - He is alive, answers prayers, heals, changes lives. We looked at Psalm 87 - the family of God is family, and is drawn from all nations.   Wendy led communion.   Barry H took us through 1 Corinthians 13.   There is no meeting next week.
