Catfield Gathering!

With family staying at Frettenham, and social distancing, Shirlene opened The Sanctuary at Catfield for worship, praise and fellowship yesterday (Sunday 9th August).

Not only was it a time of knowing the Lord’s presence, but also the presence of a couple of neighbours. And the time of fellowship was followed by Shirlene’s world famous sausage casserole! We are so grateful to Shirlene.

In Frettenham, there were 12 of us, all family, of whom 7 were children. Praise, communion, testimony and prayer together was a lovely time.

Next Sunday, 16th August, we will meet in Frettenham, usual time and usual place.

Cosy!

It was cosy! Already people are going on holiday, and indeed we will be by next Sunday. Well, at conference.   After a time of praise, worship and prayer, Ann shared from Luke 1:37. With God, nothing is impossible. She further shared about the joys of fellowship, and that with Christians, regardless of denomination, we are family.   We looked at Psalm 84. Yes, how lovely to be in God’s presence. The Living God - He is alive, answers prayers, heals, changes lives. We looked at Psalm 87 - the family of God is family, and is drawn from all nations.   Wendy led communion.   Barry H took us through 1 Corinthians 13.   There is no meeting next week.
