Awe!

How difficult to describe the sense of excitement, anticipation, awe, wonder…. in a room full of people praising God, and where the Lord speaks to us through the gifts of the Holy Spirit and anointed ministry. Marcus and Lesley Philpott were with us, and Marcus shared from Luke 24, after which a number of people were anointed with oil and prayed for.

Billy and Wendy are off to Texas on Wednesday, maybe for a few months, and we will miss them.

Lunch saw the dining room full, with additional table set up. And much of the conversation was of the amazing time we had enjoyed with the Lord. Let us go forward into the week, taking His presence wherever we go.

Next meeting is at Frettenham next Sunday.

Cosy!

It was cosy! Already people are going on holiday, and indeed we will be by next Sunday. Well, at conference.   After a time of praise, worship and prayer, Ann shared from Luke 1:37. With God, nothing is impossible. She further shared about the joys of fellowship, and that with Christians, regardless of denomination, we are family.   We looked at Psalm 84. Yes, how lovely to be in God’s presence. The Living God - He is alive, answers prayers, heals, changes lives. We looked at Psalm 87 - the family of God is family, and is drawn from all nations.   Wendy led communion.   Barry H took us through 1 Corinthians 13.   There is no meeting next week.
