Answered Prayer!

I never cease to be amazed that, whether many or few, the presence of God usually impacts me. I love the way His Presence seems to descend on us at times.

We have been greatly encouraged to hear that Paige is almost completely better. Her fatigue, which was seriously debilitating, started before Christmas. Let’s praise the Lord for His healing power. Yesterday, Michelle arrived hobbling slowly, supported by a stick. Her hip had given way. Prayer, and laying on of hands, and later, a text that she had felt the Lord’s power, and had discarded her stick when going to meet Mark from work. And today, I have heard from Bob that his laryngitis has gone!

Thank you for all contributions, from Cliff, Shirlene, Michelle, Barry, Ann, Wendy and others. Thank you to Cliff for leading communion, and Barry for his word from Leviticus 2. Very relevant and practical.

Our prayer meeting is in Aylsham this Thursday, 2pm preceded by curry at 12.30pm, at John Alam’s home.

Cosy!

It was cosy! Already people are going on holiday, and indeed we will be by next Sunday. Well, at conference.   After a time of praise, worship and prayer, Ann shared from Luke 1:37. With God, nothing is impossible. She further shared about the joys of fellowship, and that with Christians, regardless of denomination, we are family.   We looked at Psalm 84. Yes, how lovely to be in God’s presence. The Living God - He is alive, answers prayers, heals, changes lives. We looked at Psalm 87 - the family of God is family, and is drawn from all nations.   Wendy led communion.   Barry H took us through 1 Corinthians 13.   There is no meeting next week.
