Such Generosity!

Such generosity. So much food. Such variety. But, first things first – A good turnout, with such praise and worship, so many participating, gifts of the Holy Spirit, a spontaneous song of praise….. Thank you Shirlene for leading communion.

It was so good to have David Adams with us, speaking from Matthew 21 on Palm Sunday. Jesus was deliberate in his words and actions. We need to be too. God has a blue print plan from before the foundation of the earth till future eternity, and we have a place in it. Partner with him.

Jesus was living out what had to be. “Thy will, not mine”. Deliberate choices in order to fulfil the will of good. Us too.

We can think back to Holy Week, etc. but the glory of God continues. Let us look for opportunities to build the kingdom.

There followed a ‘bring and share lunch’. We were overwhelmed by the amount of food brought, the variety, and the overall enthusiasm and buzz around the house. Such generosity.

We meet in Heartsease on Wednesday afternoon.

We meet in Frettenham next (Easter) Sunday. After the meeting, there will be a curry lunch.

Cosy!

It was cosy! Already people are going on holiday, and indeed we will be by next Sunday. Well, at conference.   After a time of praise, worship and prayer, Ann shared from Luke 1:37. With God, nothing is impossible. She further shared about the joys of fellowship, and that with Christians, regardless of denomination, we are family.   We looked at Psalm 84. Yes, how lovely to be in God’s presence. The Living God - He is alive, answers prayers, heals, changes lives. We looked at Psalm 87 - the family of God is family, and is drawn from all nations.   Wendy led communion.   Barry H took us through 1 Corinthians 13.   There is no meeting next week.
