It was something of a party on Sunday, with some old friends returning for meeting and lunch. Even though Shirlene is in Brighton, and Billy and Wendy in Texas, we were full. Some slept through their alarms, and some needed rest from all the Christmas activity – but we had a great time of praise, worship, carols…..

It was cosy! Already people are going on holiday, and indeed we will be by next Sunday. Well, at conference. After a time of praise, worship and prayer, Ann shared from Luke 1:37. With God, nothing is impossible. She further shared about the joys of fellowship, and that with Christians, regardless of denomination, we are family. We looked at Psalm 84. Yes, how lovely to be in God’s presence. The Living God - He is alive, answers prayers, heals, changes lives. We looked at Psalm 87 - the family of God is family, and is drawn from all nations. Wendy led communion. Barry H took us through 1 Corinthians 13. There is no meeting next week.
