Jesus is Lord!

There were no children last Sunday! Missed them, but so many other people came. Thank you to Bob for leading praise and worship, and for so many people contributing, moving in the gifts of the Holy Spirit as per 1 Corinthians 12, with testimony, prayer, etc. interspersed. Thank you Billy for leading us in breaking bread.

If we say that Jesus is Lord, then we must allow the Spirit to move. If we orchestrate the meeting, He cannot! It’s that simple, and someone told us recently that our meetings are unique in that respect.

Our next meeting is this coming Sunday, 10.15am for 10.30am. All welcome, and for lunch.

Cosy!

It was cosy! Already people are going on holiday, and indeed we will be by next Sunday. Well, at conference.   After a time of praise, worship and prayer, Ann shared from Luke 1:37. With God, nothing is impossible. She further shared about the joys of fellowship, and that with Christians, regardless of denomination, we are family.   We looked at Psalm 84. Yes, how lovely to be in God’s presence. The Living God - He is alive, answers prayers, heals, changes lives. We looked at Psalm 87 - the family of God is family, and is drawn from all nations.   Wendy led communion.   Barry H took us through 1 Corinthians 13.   There is no meeting next week.
